Mahmood S Choudhery, PhD

Dr. Choudhery earned a BS (Hons) degree from the University of Punjab in 2007. He completed his Doctorate from National Center of excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB) in 2012. He completed a part of his research work in Professor David Harris’s Laboratory at College of Medicine, Department of Immunology, The University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. Dr. Choudhery also worked as Post-doctorate Fellow at the College of Medicine, Department of Immunology, The University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. In 2012 he joined the faculty at the King Edward Medical University as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Choudhery’s research interests include clinical applications of stem cells, caloric restriction, tissue engineering, stem cell transplantation and gene therapy. Further he has a great interest in developing cell-free stem cell based therapies. He has published several research articles in peer reviewed international journals. Currently he is serving as a reviewer and editorial board member of more than 15 international Journals.
