Yuxin Miao got his Ph.D in Soil Science/Precision Agriculture in 2005 from University of Minnesota and he did two year’s postdoc research at the Precision Agriculture Center, University of Minnesota. He joined China Agricultural University in 2007 as an Associate Professor of Precision Agriculture and Nutrient Management. In 2017, he joined University of Minnesota as Associate Director of Precision Agriculture Center and Assistant Professor of Precision Agriculture and Nutrient Management. His research focuses on remote sensing and crop growth modeling-based precision nitrogen management of major crops.
